此句型中，提前的比较级通常有3种结构，
The+形容词比较级；
The+副词比较级；
The+形容词比较级+名词，SC通常不会考察结构的问题，会考察语义搭配，比如形容词修饰名词，副词修饰动词，形容词，或另一个副词，语义搭配是否合理。
NO.2 二
此句型“ 越… 越…”，前一个“the +比较级”相当于比较状语从句，后一个“the + 比较级”为主句。句式可以倒装，但是注意通常情况下，从句中的主语与谓语必须是正常语序，不能是倒装语序。主句可根据需要调整，既可采用正常语序，也可采用倒装语序。
例如：
The noisier they were, the happier was their mother.
The harder you work, the more progress you will get.
NO.3 三
此句型涉及一些省略规则：
1. 如果主、从句中的谓语动词是系动词be，而且主语非代词时，此时be常常省略。
例如：
The better the food (is), the more popular a restaurant gets.
The higher the tree (is), the stronger the wind (is).
The more exercise you take, the stronger you are.
(注意：此句中的系动词are不能省略)
2. 对于主句在前，从句在后的特殊情况，主句中形容词或副词前的the常常省略。
例如：
You practise (the) more, the better you can understand.
I knew him (the) more, the more I liked him.
3. 主、从句叙述的内容有重合，可适当省略，
例如：
The sooner (you finish it), the better (it will be).
The more (you know it), the more dangerous (it will be).
题目解析

解析：这题句式结构没有问题，主要考察语义搭配，ABCE选项语义搭配错误，greater是adj，更大的，与likelihood搭配，可能性更大；more副词，more likely，更可能的，故D选项正确。
方法总结
句法结构的规则性重要，但是不要忘记结合语义判断选项对错，语义永远是SC的核心哈。
